Why I Started FinditCU

I started FinditCU because I realized small businesses didn’t have access to an affordable way to market their business.  Advertising costs can be quite high and many of the options want business owners to commit to annual contracts.  What is needed is a marketing platform that remains low cost but can be ramped up to higher levels when needed.  This is what FinditCU delivers.

We feel there is three things that will promote a small business the most: 

1. Announcements of deals or sales
2. Articles about the business, services or products
3. Event announcements related to the business

These are what a business needs to share and it matches what people want to consume.  Everyone wants to know about sales.  To have a list of sales being offered in the area would be a dream come true.  People like to read short articles that are informative and to have them originate in their local area is a plus.  Event announcements can let them know about what is going on in the community.  FinditCU is geared to deliver on these fronts.

It is not enough to post your promotional information to social media as this usually only reaches your friends and members.  Posting your item to a central location where other businesses are posting their items creates a bonanza of sales, articles, and event announcements.  When everyone is drawing their friends and followers to one site, then everyone wins.  This works if even five businesses are doing this or five hundred.
